Traditional Photographic Prints

Our Photographic Prints are traditional Photographic Prints.  They are printed by exposing light sensitive paper with light and then running the paper through a chemical process.  Our vendors print exclusively using laser photo printers. This means the printers print using visible light laser to expose silver halide photographic media.  These prints can be described as Silver Halide Photographic Prints, Chromogenic Photographic Prints or C-Prints.  Also, we proudly use Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper to print all of our Photographic Prints.  This paper offers an extraordinary color gamut and state-of-the art image stability. This is NO ink involved in this process and these are NOT photographic prints created with an “Ink-Jet” process.    Photographic Prints are available in two different surfaces: Lustre and Metallic and Matte (B&W)

NOTE:  Each of the below papers each have their own qualities and characteristics which lend themselves to the various types of work one is trying to accomplish.  E-Surface or Endura Premier is a traditional paper which has a basic “warm” tones and lends itself to portraits, and non-landscape images.  Whereas the Kodak Metallic paper will have a much brighter “Punch” and then to lends itself to wildlife, nature and landscape shots.  With that side, in the end it is the object of the viewer or buyer and what their personal desire is.

A very good website which helps explain the Kodak paper differences can be found here.

Metallic is metallic.  (Normally used for warm tones and skin tones).
