Traditional Photographic Prints
Our Photographic Prints are traditional Photographic Prints using what is known as the ‘Wet Process’ and are NOT ‘Ink-Jet’ types of prints. They are printed by exposing light sensitive paper with light and then running the paper through a chemical process. Our vendors print exclusively using laser photo printers. This means the printers print using visible light laser to expose silver halide photographic media. These prints can be described as Silver Halide Photographic Prints, Chromogenic Photographic Prints or C-Prints. Also, we proudly use Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper to print all of our Photographic Prints.
These type of papers offers an extraordinary color gamut and state-of-the art image stability. This is NO ink involved in this process and these are NOT photographic prints created with an “Ink-Jet” process. Photographic Prints are currently available in one surfaces type - That is the E-Surface Paper by Kodak... Other print papers as listed below are under consideration.
NOTE: Each of the below papers each have their own qualities and characteristics which lend themselves to the various types of work one is trying to accomplish. E-Surface or Endura Premier is a traditional paper which has a basic “warm” tones and lends itself to portraits, and non-landscape images. Whereas the Kodak Metallic paper will have a much brighter “Punch” and then to lends itself to wildlife, nature and landscape shots. With that side, in the end it is the object of the viewer or buyer and what their personal desire is.
Metallic Paper (Smooth Pearlescent Finish)
Metallic uses a patented combination of film and laminate layers resulting in striking three-dimensional images. Its unique pearlescent surface, resistance to tearing and curling, and ultra-bright backgrounds make it an exceptional paper regardless of application. e-Surface is like Lustre. Metallic is metallic. (Normally used for images with more contrast or punch such as nature or wildlife)
E-Surface Paper (Standard Photographic Finish)
Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper (Traditional E-Surface Paper) is the most popular paper used by professional photographers. Accurate color, realistic saturation, excellent neutral flesh reproduction, and greater intensity are just a few of the benefits of E-Surface paper. e-Surface is like Lustre. Metallic is metallic. (Normally used for warm tones and skin tones).
True B&W Paper (Classic Matte Finish) - Future Product
Our panchromatic, resin-coated paper proves a true digital B&W print should be the standard, not an exception. It is designed to make rich black, continuous-tone prints – while avoiding color tints. And by using a silver-based emulsion vs. dye-based, this papers imaging performance and characteristics are the same as traditional B&W prints.
