Traditional Photographic Prints
Our photographic prints are NOT the same as what you would buy at Sam’s Club, Costco, or Walmart… These are ‘TRUE’ professional grade print created by a truly profession lab.
Our prints are the traditional Photographic Prints using what is known as the ‘Wet Process’ and are NOT the ‘Ink-Jet’ type of prints. These prints are made by exposing light sensitive paper with light and then running the paper through a chemical process. Our vendors print exclusively using laser photo printers. This means the printers print using a visible light laser to expose silver halide photographic media. These prints can be described as Silver Halide Photographic Prints, Chromogenic Photographic Prints or C-Prints. Also, we proudly use Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper to print all of our Photographic Prints.
These types of papers offer an extraordinary color gamut and state-of-the-art image stability. There is NO ink involved in this process and these are NOT photographic prints created with an “Ink-Jet” process. Photographic Prints are currently available in three paper types which are known as 1) Kodak ENDURA Lustre “E”, 2) Kodak ENDURA Glossy “F”, and their 3) Kodak ENDURA Metallic. Each type of paper offers its own qualities which can add character to the quality of the print… For further information, we would invite you the actual website of “Bay Photo” at this LINK, in order to learn more about each. At Bay Photo Lab, they use only professional photo papers so that you always receive the longest lasting and highest quality photographic prints available.
